Shopping Ads by Google

In late August 2014, Google forced everyone using Product Listing Ads (PLAs) to migrate to Shopping Ads (SAs). This new improved service offers a unique ad format that allows the user to include an image, title, price, promotional message, and the business name, without the need to create unique ads for each product.


This list of products will appear for a given search in their own box on Google Search, Google search partners websites that display products for sale and on Google Shopping. Bear in mind that this is paid advertisement, so you will be competing (bidding) against other businesses and Google will show the most relevant ad, based on certain rules.


Your business would get more traffic and leads, better and qualified leads, easy management and broader reach, just to name a few benefits of SAs. In order to use this service, you will need both a Google AdWords and a Google Merchant Center account.
